Location- Our pick-up and drop off point is now at the parc parking garage located on the corner of 1st and main Street, 100 east main street Louisville, KY 40202. we are on the main level closest to the white castle. text us at 502-354-8822 if you need assistance.
PAYMENT- To reserve a tour we need a credit card on file. for public tours, we do not charge upfront. for private tours, it is a $100 deposit. both tours are charged what is still owed the monday prior.
PRICING- $420 plus sales tax. $100 is due at booking at the remainder is due the monday of the tour. if you book the same week, you are charged the full amount.
arriving late- we do back to back tours, so if we have time we will do our best to give you a full tour, but unfortunately if you are running late, we have to take that off your tour time so we are not late for our next tour.
waiver- everyone must sign a waiver located on the waiver tab on our website. it is much faster to do it before your tour because it may take time out of your tour for everyone to do their waiver. our office does have a kiosk however if you are unable. (our office is only open weekends)
can i join late? if you have one person who can’t get there on time, they may join the tour in progress, but they must fill out a waiver and let the driver know.
can under 21 yrs old ride? no, i am sorry.
Can We bring Alcohol?
Yes. you can bring alcohol, but nothing glass. IF YOU BRING GLASS YOU WILL NOT BE PERMITTED TO BRING ON BIKE. PLEASE PROVIDE YOUR OWN COOLER AND ICE. ROLLING COOLERS ARE RECOMMENDED FOR EASE OF TRANSPORT.
do you sell or serve alcohol? no, sorry it is against state law.
Can small groups rent through The Thirsty Pedaler? Yes we do public tours, we will need a minimum of 6 to go whether you have six in your group or we can put multiple groups together to get our minimum. You will receive an email confirmation if we hit our minimum. If we don't, the tour will not go .
WHAT TIME SHOULD I ARRIVE? I would arrive about 10 minutes before your tour starts. you will have to park in a garage or on the street, so please make time for that.
Any tips for a good tour?
Yes a good playlist goes a long way. Also you want to be time efficient at your stops so instead of each person individually buying their drinks. Have one person collect $15 or $20 from each person and order the whole group's drinks at each stop. You will be happy you did.
TIPPING DRIVERS? OUR DRIVERS WORK FOR TIPS, SO A STANDARD TIP WOULD BE $3-$5 PER PERSON.
What is the cancellation POLICY? Cancellation requires 10 days before your tour for a full refund. IF YOU CANCEL WITHIN THE 10 DAYS ON A PRIVATE TOUR, YOU LOSE YOUR $100 DEPOSIT. ON A PUBLIC TOUR YOU ARE CHARGED $10 PER SEAT. WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO CHARGE THE FULL AMOUNT IF YOU CANCEL WITHIN 24 HOURS.
WHAT IS THE RAIN POLICY? We have roofs on the bikes, so if it’s mild or medium rain you won’t even notice. We even offer free rain ponchos. If it’s severely thunder-storming, we can delay the start time, issue a rain check or refund, determined by The Thirsty Pedaler. Tours are never cancelled due to weather more than 2 hours from the start time.
lost items- we are not responsible for lost or stolen items. our drivers do their best to help the customers, but please make sure not to leave gift cards, phones, sunglasses, etc.. on the bike. thank you.
